Dr. Melvina Norwood is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, summa cum laude, at Spelman College, and masters and doctoral degrees in Clinical/Counseling/School Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She completed her postdoctoral training in child clinical psychology at a joint program at Stanford University Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Health Council. After several years of private practice group affiliations, Dr. Norwood opened Norwood Psychological Group NPG in McDonough, Georgia. Dr. Norwood provides a variety of services to diverse child, adolescent and adult populations including individual, family and group therapy, as well as psychological, educational and forensic evaluations. Dr. Norwood integrates spirituality in family therapy when requested by clients.
In addition to clinical work, Dr. Norwood is an Adjunct Professor at Spelman College in the Department of Psychology. She frequently conducts psychological and personal development workshops at professional and community-based conferences for educators, psychologists and civic organizations. Dr. Norwood is a member of the American Psychological Association, Georgia Psychological Association and National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.

Dr. Madinah I. Ralston earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Brockport, in upstate New York. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Kent State University in Ohio. She completed her internship at the Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, New York. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia and is a member of the Georgia Psychological Association. Dr. Ralston has conducted assessments and psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience conducting psychological, psychoeducational, and psychosexual assessments and has worked in community mental health, medical center, and private practice settings. Dr. Ralston has had a variety of clinical experiences, including inpatient, pediatric HIV, the psychiatry emergency room, correctional, and a school setting for children with special needs. She is currently an adjunct instructor at Argosy University-Atlanta.

Stefanie Hughes is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 20 years in the mental health field. Her specialties include hypnotherapy, sex therapy and anger management. Mrs. Hughes is a well sought speaker in the community and has a special interest in empowering women to build self esteem and self awareness. She sponsors two annual workshops tailored to women, "Nurturing the soft side of a Strong Woman" and "Pleasure Matters". Her passion for helping others is the driving force behind her brand and she prides herself on being attentive to all those who grace her path in helping them reach their place of peace.
